Zane King

Zane brings a legacy of elite performance, proven leadership, and a deep passion for the sport to his new role as Head Coach at Logan North Aquatic Centre. A former Australian Age and Open Champion and representative on both the Australian Age and Open Dolphins Swim Teams, Zane understands exactly what it takes to perform at the highest levels of swimming.

With over 23 years of coaching experience, Zane has developed and mentored athletes who have gone on to represent Australia at major international competitions, including the Junior Commonwealth Games and the World Championships. His programs have consistently produced state and national medalists and swimmers selected for Australian Age and Open Teams.

Zane has led high-performing squads across some of Queensland's most respected programs, including Kingswim Swim Club (2002–2011), Rackley Swim Team Colmslie (2011–2022), and most recently, Iona College and Iona Swim Club (2022– 2025), where he drove strong results across both school and club pathways.

Zane's coaching philosophy is built on giving back to the sport that shaped his life: "Swimming has given me so much—it's my privilege to now give back by guiding the next generation."

With a proven track record, high-performance insight, and a team-first approach, Zane is excited to lead the Logan Squad and Logan Vikings Club into a new era of success.

Jake is a Swimming Australia Advanced (silver) accredited swim coach who has been a part of Brisbane/Queensland swimming for over 20 years. In his younger years as a swimmer, Jake competed at the Australian National Domestic level, including multiple Australian swim team trials.

Jake has always had a great interest in the technical side of swimming, studying stroke and athlete development, which led him to pursue becoming a swim coach. His philosophy is that swimming should be fun and that an athlete should always be learning. Throughout his coaching career, Jake has coached athletes to medals at multiple Queensland Championships and the Australian School Swimming Championships, and has guided swimmers to compete at the Australian Age National Championships.

Jake works closely with Head Coach Zane to build a fun, family-oriented environment where everyone can pursue their swimming goals at the Logan Vikings Swim Club.
