Zane King
Zane brings a legacy of elite performance, proven leadership, and a deep passion for the sport to his new role as Head Coach at Logan North Aquatic Centre. A former Australian Age and Open Champion and representative on both the Australian Age and Open Dolphins Swim Teams, Zane understands exactly what it takes to perform at the highest levels of swimming.
With over 23 years of coaching experience, Zane has developed and mentored athletes who have gone on to represent Australia at major international competitions, including the Junior Commonwealth Games and the World Championships. His programs have consistently produced state and national medalists and swimmers selected for Australian Age and Open Teams.
Zane has led high-performing squads across some of Queensland's most respected programs, including Kingswim Swim Club (2002–2011), Rackley Swim Team Colmslie (2011–2022), and most recently, Iona College and Iona Swim Club (2022– 2025), where he drove strong results across both school and club pathways.
